How much do we miss him now? How many rebounds did he average but more importantly how many times did he use his body to box out and let others clean up. People like to dump on this team but I like them. It would be nice for DeVaughn to bring his A game everynight but if he isn't then get someone else in there.Which should be Keely execept it looks like he is not sure what his role should be TP is in the top 5 in the COUNTRY for 3 pt shooting. That is pretty strong. Baltic has shown nice improvement Kellogg has shown flashes as have Johnson/Hall. Of course DJ is POY caliber Quad double is always a possibility. Offutt will help and I can tell you that Jon Smith was an absolute B**** on the glass in high school. Throw Stevie Taylor in that mix and there are going to be some special moments in the convo. KVK helped to start something good and there is no reason this team can't continue it. 2 games behind with 12 to go is no big deal.  let's get better and get it done

I like the positive attitude. I believe a team that has only three seniors and no juniors is only going to get better this year and then watch out next year and the year after.

How many posts like this were there that referenced Terren Harbut in the 05-06 season.    Players who are contributing a lot more than you realize at the time...  Out of everyone we lost, I miss KVK the most...

While this year looks like it will be a struggle all the way, I am optimistic about the future.

Though people liked to dog him, I would put Clay McGowan in the same boat.  He did way more for that 04-05 tourney team than people realized.  He allowed Leon to slide to the PF spot during stretches of games where Leon generally held a significant advantage over whoever was guarding him.

Every good team must have that player that is willing to do the dirty work! Rebounds, getting on the floor, setting hard screens. This team does not have one, and you can't make one.
