Just burn your tickets. Sure, you'll be out a few bucks but you might maintain your sanity.
Thanks Larry and crew for another 40 min. of unwatchable MAC basketball. You really suck.

I think Ohio's problems go way beyond the men in striped shirts.

Maybe I missed something but I didnt think the game was that poorly called? Other than the elbow to Freeman I suppose.

Tommy took a wicked elbow from #21 in blue - after a long delay and looking at replays the refs decided not to call anything.  Its posted in the game thread if you want to see it...I don't see how he doesn't get run after that.

Our epic fail of a 2nd half had little to do with that call...

I'm still trying to figure out how Buffalo got a 37-second shot clock to start the second half today. Ball was knocked out of bounds with 1 on the shot clock. Inbounds pass is kicked and shot clock horn goes off at 19:23. Shot clock reset to 15 after the kick, Buffalo sinks a 3 and they're off and running.

Can someone explain how 37 seconds can expire on a 35-second shot clock?

(Side note: That was the least of our problems in the second half today, but still, it's nice to see an oblivious MAC officiating crew carrying on Jerry Sauder's legacy.)

If there is a kicked ball with less than 15 sec on the shot clock, the shot clock is reset to 15 sec. Over 15 sec there are no time changes.

Wicked is a proper term and so is flagrant and so is dirty. Watt leaned into Freeman and delivered a deliberate and forceful forearm to his throat. There was no doubt about it, Watt should have been given the foul and ejected. The entire game would have changed had it been called correctly. I watched Zeke Marshall simply square his shoulders and hit a guy who was up in his grill the other day and he got T'd up. Hello, the guy is 7 freaking feet, if a shorter defender gets up on him and he simply turns he's going to hit you and it's not intentional and not his fault. The officials clearly do not understand how to enfoce this new rule. I would not be the least surprised if the league reviewed the film and sat Watt down for a game. Anyways, I do think that Larry S is the poorest official in the conference. It's just not today, I've seen him in numerous arenas and he's poor all the time. Serious case of "little man syndrome" going on there.

And,yes, the Bobcats have troubles but so does every team in the conference. We all know that it's never too late to go on a run. It's all  up for grabs.

That wasn't the problem.

If you have a 35-second shot clock that starts at 20:00, the shot clock should expire at 19:25. If it was stopped with the horn going off at 19:23, that means somebody started the shot clock at least a second late. The kicked ball should've never happened because if the clock was operated properly, the shot clock would've expired before the kick sequence even happened.

Bad work by the clock operator, bad work by the officials to not clean up an easily identifiable mistake.
