NIU is really soft in the post, so that had something to do with it, but Ivo stepped up, no doubt. Toledo is probably just as soft, so we'll see if he can keep it going. Not that he'll score 31 again, but I defintiely think he and DW can dominate post play again Wednesday.
The good news was that we took what was there and made it work. Right from the get-go it looked like the plan was to get it inside (we still missed a bunch of bunnies). NICE JOB TODAY IVO!!

ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio University head men's basketball coach John Groce announced on Wednesday that forward Ivo Baltic has signed a National Letter of Intent and will suit up for the Bobcats in the 2009-10 season.
"We're very excited to add Ivo to an already very talented class," Groce said. "He is a tremendous fit for Ohio University and our basketball program, both on and off the court. As a player, we love his versatility, his skill level and his unparalleled work ethic. He has an opportunity to be a very special player during his time at Ohio."
A consensus three-star recruit, Baltic (Riverside, Mo.) is ranked 54th nationally among power forwards in the Class of 2009 by ESPN.com. He was also regarded by ESPN.com as the eighth-most sought-after player in the country heading into the beginning of the late signing period. Prior to his senior season at Park Hill South High School, he was rated No. 27 on the MOsports.com Super 50 list.
The 6-8, 205-pound Baltic averaged 23 points and 15 rebounds per game for Park Hill South as a senior in 2008-09, garnering first-team Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 5 all-state honors. He is a two-time member of the Suburban Mid Six Conference first team, and was a finalist for the 2009 DiRenna Award, given annually to the most outstanding player in the Kansas City metro area.
Baltic's addition bolsters an Ohio signing class that ESPN has already tabbed as one of the ten-best mid-major classes in the nation. He joins guard D.J. Cooper (Chicago, Ill./Seton Academy), the Chicago Sun Times' Small School Player of the Year, forward Marquis Horne (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton HS), a first-team Greater Miami Conference pick for the second year in a row, forward Reggie Keely (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights HS), a second-team Division I All-Ohio selection, and guard James Kinney (Champaign, Ill./Centennial HS), the fifth-place finisher in the run for Illinois Mr. Basketball, as part of the class arriving in Athens for the 2009-10 season.
All five members of the class were also McDonald's High School All-America nominees in 2009.
