This game a critical because of tiebreakers. Kent St may have tired legs with three games in 5 days.  Bobcats gotta go for the kill. This one is ripe for the taking. We haven't won in a long time at Kent and we are over do for a win in that building.  We shall where Ohio is on Saturday nite. Are we there yet, or are we just beating weaker teams.  This is a statement game to show the MAC that Ohio is right there with the top of the MAC and ready for March.  Can we revenge a home loss in January against Kent State?

It's pretty bad up north. Kent's campus is closed today. Anyone know if the team is there yet or if the game is still on as scheduled?

And another critical thing to consider is what time to show up at Ray's for a pre-game libation.

We're planning to be at Ray's about 3:30 tomorrow if anyone wants to meet up to shoot the bull for a while before the game.

The Bobcats are 6.5-7 point underdogs tonight.  Hopefully Vegas is overlooking the fatigue factor for the Flashes, and those making the trip to Kent are able to bring home a win.

An improving Bobcat team needs to show that it's tough enough tonight.  A W would be a nice indicator.

I'm not opposed to either place, and I think they're very close together. Both look decent. I'll check with the driver :)

Regardless, we should be to Kent by 3.

Water Street Tavern is a good choice.

Anybody who is up here got an extra ticket in our section that I could pay full price for? I live in Kent but my contact couldn't pull it out today and I'd rather sit amongst friends than with the unwashed Flashes. PM me if you do ...

Update: Nevermind, I'm taken care of!

Also our broadcast is way ahead of the videos so it makes you pretty much have to listen to this murder. But the video feed is extremely professional! I like it alot.

Really bad time to get T'd up for groce. on 3 secs left. you have to let that go no matter how bad the call.

Also really cool to see Evan Turner and some of his nba teamates at the game. Im assuming he is there to see Groce

Nice to have instant replay on the KSU feed. Anyone know why the feed from the Convo does not?

I don't think they are that bad. They sound like they are students, but surprisingly very unbiased. Actually seemed to be cheering for the Bobcats at one point.

Ya, they love DJ - they can't be ALL bad.

edit: Changed my mind, they're horrible. They don't even seem to understand the game at all.

I think Alex said it's due to lack of equipment in the Convo...but I think it's a poor excuse to not have a really sweet, student run production given WOUB and the TV production majors Ohio graduates.  Hopefully there is some money in the recent donation for some more cameras and switching equipment.
