Agree with Wes... It would be a lot more heartbreaking to me if we had been 26-5 as a 1 seed and got upset by an 8-seed to miss the tournament. The losses to the Robert Morris and Oakland squads, etc. showed me that this team was not as good as I'd hoped going into the season.
The bench was very weak and they were poor tonite. Anytime Baltic or Washington were out we fell apart. Keely is a big drop off from Baltic/Washington. Johnson/Hall make big mistakes. These players will improve like Baltic did this year or get burried on the bench. Groce had more depth next year. He has to keep the team together. They could be very good, but no seniors next year. This year we were thin at the 2 guard spot as Bassett, Coleman and Kinney all left the program. Kellogg, Johnson and Hall played a lot more than anyone expected. They were up and down as freshmen often are. If they improve in the off season they should help us.
