The nine-point lead was at the 6:17 mark.

My favorite part was when the STO guy said Ohio had the win wrapped up at the point.

Great call. That's why you work for STO.

Fitting end to this season. Terrible decision making, shot selection and clock management all season. They blew leads all season. Defensive breakdowns in critical times. The youth of this team bit us bad and tonite the youth made very key mistakes tonite.

By no measure were we a great team this year.  We were rather like football this year; we were who we were and that got us in the end.  We really have no complaint.  Last year The Bitch was with us, this year not so much.

Indeed, bad decision making in firing up quick shots with a big lead late.  Also, why do we defend so much at 20+ feet but leave the middle of the lane undefended.  That be stupid.

If you followed us this year, you can't have been to surprised at tonight's result.  We could have gone further, could have won tonight.  But we didn't.

(Trying to find something positive) At least we didn't blow a 10 point lead in the final 50 seconds like Virginia did to Miami (FL). (/Trying to find something positive)

Actually, when you're up nine and loose with 2+ to go, you shouldn't lose.  It's when the old sphincter gets noticeably un-loose that bad s&^% happens.

We got the one stop in that stretch but Ivo missed the front end of the one-and-one. Don't see a team give up two three-point plays and a 3-pointer in that short of a stretch very often.

Shocking was they didn't have to foul us. He missed shots and gave up foolish fouls.

We were up nine with about 2:40 to go.

We lost.

Virginia up 10 with a minute to play and lost.  The school up north up 17 with 1:47 left and Michigan cut it to 4.

Basketball is a crazy game.

UVA has sucked every since we blew them out in Charlottesville in Nov 1994. We burst their bubble handing them a loss in the Convo in February in O'Shea's second year.  Ever since the ACC expanded they have been a non-factor.  They suck in football too. ACC expansion has been a disaster for UVA.

Yeah, they were so traumatized by that loss they made the Elite 8 that season.  20-9 in 2000-01, 21-11 in 2006-07.  As usual, you have no clue what you're talking about and don't bother to take the slightest effort to look things up.  Take a bat to your computer.

Take your own advice!  Maybe you should take a bat to your computer also.

Except there was a nine-point lead at the 6:17 mark.  I posted that within, what, two minutes of the game ending and that's what the stat sheet told me.  But yes, I was wrong.   I'm sure you're smart enough to see the differences between my mistake (and my admitting it) and his (and his ignoring it).
