Going into the tourney I had some trepidation as to the coverage nad hwo the normal Pro guys would cover the college game. I welcomed the ability to select mutliple games because that is how I watch all year.4 or 5 games at a time going back oand forth utilizing Tivo to get caught upin commercials. This is heaven for me personally The barkley Walker Francis group is hilarious. Charles is willing to be the Ed Mcmahon of the group and plays it well while the perspective from guys who moved on from college to pretty accomplished careers at the next level bring some pretty sweet analysis The director of officials apppearing subsequent to the Butler game was timely and gave greeat insight. 2 of the dumbest fouls in tourney history. The guest coaches have come in and been good but Phil martelli is doing a great job. While I am a great fan of the insight Knight gives I am also appreciative of what other guys bring tothe table. Martelli talking about Pullen breaking downinthe presser said what I have held to be true for many years. "there isn't a coach or player who cares about the game that does not want to go out there one more day and have a chance to get just a little better" I rem, ember a wuote from somewhere that one of the alltime great players said when asked whatthe greatest gift the game left him was...his was the best reply I have evr heard... " I am thankful that for a long time it gave me one more day ..." All in all I am happy to see CBS take this approach and for Directv to have placed the three other channels right next to each other.
Wally Szczerbiak is an analyst for CBS. I've only seen him once though. Wonder if he's still waiting by the phone for an NBA team to call.

Second, the DJ has played this song before. They load up on home wins, play competitively in the Big East, win a game in the BE tournament... then flame out on opening weekend.
This season hasn’t exactly the same. They haven't played this well in the conference in quite some time, and this is probably the best team since Austin Carr wore the navy and gold. But sometimes, your identity is your identity, and no number of cosmetic changes will make a difference. Is this program a true March contender? They've yet to show it. Forgive me for not jumping on the Irish bandwagon; too much history cautions me otherwise.
