This guy seems pretty cool to say the least.

A great watch and listen in my opinion.

Lots of great and sound insight into the workings of ....well bracketology

I think he makes a good point about the MAC glory years being 15-20 years ago.  Akron and Kent State have been the only real consistent winning programs in last several years.

I admit those days were special considering that Snoopy and Jamerson shared the same locker room and had to battle Grant Long and Thunder Dan and even Ron Harper just to name a few future nba guys. though those days were a little further back than 15-20 years.

You still had very good players later on.... Lewis Geter was the last cut that the Knicks made his 1st year out of school and of course Boykins very solid career.

Definitely stirs up the nostalgia.

I once got to guard Geter at Grover, it was a week or two after he got cut by the Knicks.  Luckily, he recognized that I had no business being on the same court as him and just stood around and passed the ball.

One of my top 5 Ohio Bobcat memories is going into Miami up against Harper et al and beating them in OT. Rich Stanfel sinks two free throws(for the first time in his life I think) to seal the win. Millett Hall was actually rocking and the crowd went to stunned silence when his 2nd free throw went through.

Geter is one of the most genuinely greats guys you'd ever want to meet.  I'm not surprised one bit by what you said.

I wish his name would get mentioned more when talk of great Bobcat players begins.
