I used to get so excited for basketball season, in the 90's and early 2000s it seemed like there was a legit chance to get an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament - so it meant every game counted. It had to be a dream season to get it done, but it was possible. The whole season was fun even though more often than not the MAC only got one bid, it still seemed possible. The last five years or so have been much harder - it's almost like the games don't count until the tournament.

We need a few other MAC schools to get some marquee wins and the Bobcats to start strong...

It would be nice for the MAC to restore some of it's mid-major muscles...
