Please explain.

I've seen crazier things happen.

At Dayton too.  Looks like the East is going to be a bear this year.

I was at the Minnesota-UD game on Sunday and they looked impressive. Then they go out and lose to UB...by TWENTY-NINE. Tough to figure. Maybe the MAC East just has the Flyers' number this year.

SInce my vid was buffering so bad I watched IU/NC STate and UD/Buff

Buffalo.

McCrae is still a beast. The offense works well for him
Watt is the ultimate garbage man. Still a dirty player but had Daytons bigs befuddled.
Got great play from Filzen who was 5 for 9  last I saw from 3 but is still not a shooter because he cant create his own shot. He has several steals/deflections and tap outs rebs to keep the ball alive

THe offense is really befuddling to teams with defensive ADD as there are so many slips and backcuts that UD just fell asleep and got burnt. Also got beat on the boards. They looked like they did not want the ball literally giving it away  4 straight possession s in the first half.

Dissapointed in Dayton as I thought they would be the better team tonite. Buff looks polished and executed well for this early in the season. Too many familiar faces but they all know the system and run it well. It really was that bad a game for UD from the git go. Felt sorry for Ku.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I watched the game while listening to our game.  Dayton could not handle the ball control, passing and feeding off the screens.  The Beefs bigs were big.  Dayton was out of the game after 5 min.  They completely lost their desire to compete.  The Dayton coach just sat with his fingers in his mouth.

Buffalo was impressive and will be difficult for us to handle if they play the same way.

I have several friends who are long time UD season ticket holders - they were not at all excited going into this year, they lost a lot from last years team - this is a down year for the Flyers.

As many of you know, I'm an OU and a UB fan (OU first).

I've gone to 1 UB game this year and talked to a scout. Basically what I was told and observed, UB is all about their big men.

Watt is much improved this year and is playing almost as well as McCrea (that's a scary thought)

But UB's back court and guards aren't that great. They play tough defense because of their length and athleticism. UB will be hard for anybody in the MAC to beat because of their size but I definitely think OU can exploit them since we have great guards that will overmatch UB.

I'm excited for both of my teams this year and for the MAC East. I'm expecting both OU and UB to win 20+ games this year and compete for the MAC Championship with Akron and Kent State.

Yeah, I had pretty low expectations coming into the season. But after UD won the Old Spice Classic over the weekend (beating Wake Forest, Fairfield and Minnesota), I think people were getting their hopes up. I thought Buffalo would be a tough matchup for them. McCrae is unstoppable and Watt can be a force when he decides to play basketball.

The Bulls threw a zone against UD that they couldn't handle. An 18-0 run made a 14-11 lead become 32-11. With the number of offensive weapons the Bulls have, hard to put a run together against them. Two good road wins for the MAC last night.

Most of the teams that played in Thanksgiving tournaments ended up losing their first game back. Granted not like Dayton but still...

Speaking of which, there's nothing weirder than watching college basketball at a Disney complex. Almost as bad as watching spring training baseball at a Disney compound...err, complex.

Sports and the Mouse -- the two should never be mixed. (I'm looking at you ESPN!)

Free tickets are free tickets though.

UD is very up-and-down this year. No idea what to make of them.

I was at the Mouse a couple years ago during that tournament. Seeing the Baylor team try and cram into the Rock and Rollercoaster was funny.
