Tie Game.  Shot Clock Off.  OHIO's ball.  What do we do:

Currently it appear the play would be DJ runs down the clock to about 8 seconds and creates his own shot.  Last time around a 15 ft jumper that didn't go.  Can't fault the plan or the shot, just didn't go on this time.

Here are 2 options I'd like to see develop over the course of this season:

1.  Dump in down low to Baltic.  He takes it to the hole for the shot or a trip to the line.  As I stated in an earlier post, I don't feel he's there yet to carry this type of responsibility in a game like Louisville, but I'd like to see him develop into this type of guy this year.

2.  Isolate Offutt on the wing who can drive and (1) pull up for a mid range jumper, (2) or take it to the hole.

Other than DJ, Baltic or Offutt, I don't see another option I'd want to draw up at this juncture.

Feel like we have to create this part of our game.  A clear idea of who should have the ball in their hands during crunch time.  Don't feel this has been developed yet on this young/new team and it would've been nice to have had a go-to game plan during the later stages of the Louisville game.  No offense to Reggie, but I don't want him putting the ball on the ground and driving to the hoop during crunch time--even if it would've worked that time around.  Neither do I want the current hot-potato around the perimeter--"you want, I don't want it, you shoot it, or should I?"

What would you draw up in this scenario?

We need Trent in here to teach our bigs how to go strong to the basket, create contact and draw a foul. I'm sick of seeing fadeaways from bigs. Man up and take it to the hole. Can't wait to see Belton underneath.
