I haven't heard or read anything on him this week.  I noticed he didn't play Sunday.  What's the scoop?

he is probably not ready.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Goard looks super-athletic and at times reminds me of DeVaughn. But he also appears to be a very "raw" talent. Still, I see a lot more potential with him than Jacobs. I'd really like to see more of him...hopefully they'll be some opportunities (Morgan State, Marietta College, Kennesaw State - we're looking at you!)

He played in the exibition and the first two games.  Did not look that bad.  Maybe another reason for not playing Sunday.

We went to Charleston tonight to get out of the house and ran into Goard in the mall.  He was proudly wearing his OU track suit on his day off.  My 10 year old recognized him first and we stopped to say hello.  He was very nice to the boys and said he'd see them in the Convo.  He was very polite and a good representative of our program.  We'll be rooting for him to have a successful career in Athens.

When he was pulled out of the game after a foul that game, he was agitated, thought he did not commit the foul, and pretty aggressively argued with coaching staff - and kept at it too long. May be why he was kept on the bench the rest of that game.
