on espn3.com if anyone is interested in seeing future competition. Currently down 1 point to Iowa with 11 to play in first half. 14-13.

The refs in this one are atrocious. I'm surprised McCaffrey didn't get tossed earlier.

Northern looks darn good though. Solid defensively and good ball movement. Going to be a touch matchup.

They just flashed UNI's schedule on the screen and one thing we have going for us is that they play a game the night before our game against Loras(not to be confused with the Lorax). I imagine the starters won't see too much time but every little bit helps.

UNI beat Iowa 80-60 and is now 8-1.

BTW - Kent State beat James Madison 71-51 in Harrisonburg.

Depending on how Louisville develops, it's possible Northern Iowa might end up being the best team we play in the regular season.

Really good win for Kent State. Had seen that Humpty Hitchens was averaging 18 ppg coming into this.

GIven the history or Iowa, Drake, I owa State in the NCAA and the conferences the represent that is not too shabby a titile........but to be sure if that was wrestling .....the locals would be impressed. Only place I have ever been that pre empted Miami Vice for an I owa Iowa State Dual match to be televised
