Buffalo gives one away to Temple. The Owls are now 1-1 vs the MAC East this year and 7-6 since the football agreement. But supposedly Temple is too good to be in the MAC.

MY STATE. MY TEAM.

All that finger crossing didn't do much good, Van...0-3...0-3....

Buff literally gives away the game to Temple.  BGSU competitive but can't win at Duquesne.  Toledo leads for part of the game but ends up losing to Cleveland State.

Beefs had that game won but gave it away.  The big play happened in regulation with about a minute to go and Bulls ball. Temple pressed but  the Bulls appeared to brake it but one of their players (Watson I believe) caught the ball near half court all by himself but he waited for the defenders to get to him thinking they would just foul him.  Instead they went for the ball. He was fouled but in the process he also elbowed a Temple player in the face and a double foul was called including a flagrant foul on him.  So instead of him going to the line shooting two, both players shot two and Temple got the ball.  They then hit a three and ended up tying it.

May I add to what OUVan posted?

Temple went small the final 1-2 minutes of regulation, giving them an advantage offensively (they hit 2 or 3 treys during this time to erase a 6 point UB lead and send game into OT), but also giving UB an advantage when they had the ball. UT's small lineup was unable to stop McCrea when they went small, yet Witherspoon called a time out for UB's final possession after a UT 3 tied the game. The time out allowed UT to substitute a couple of bigs for UB's final possession. I was hoping Witherspoon would not call a time out in this situation and just go inside to McCrea posting up against a smaller defender. Would have been a nice win for UB and the MAC.
