I think that, after what we witnessed tonight, will be a much better game. Since we were brought back to reality that we aren't untouchable, this should be a much easier win.....or at least I hope.

Kennesaw is a team that has to be road weary. They've played only two home games all season, back-to-back games over Thanksgiving. They haven't had a home game since 11/26. In an span 8-day from 12/15 to 12/23, they played two games in Missouri, one in California and two in Vegas.

They've had only one game against a D1 opponent where they scored more than 70 points -- they lost that one 104-98 -- and they've scored in the 60s only four times. They have three guys averaging double figures. The bench contributes only about 12 points a game, so there isn't a lot of depth. It looks like they start four guards and a forward; they're the only ones averaging 20+ minutes. Here's another one where the Cats should just take care of business and move on.

I agree with Ringo, the guys will be ready to go for the next one. Listening to Coach post game the other night, I'm fairly sure it was known that he wants better effort for the full forty than was shown on the 23rd. Despite that, what you have to love is how it seems to be a couple different guys stepping up each night. Being truly 10 deep is a great thing watch.

Based on my twitter/facebook feed, we are going to have some students in the house Friday. There is some excitement building for this team, and who could pass up NYE in Athens.

New Year's Eve in Athens is a magical time. Probably some of my best memories are from spending New Year's Eves in Athens.
