What source is this from?

You know what Frank Solich likes most about coaching in the MAC? While he gets older, his coaching competition stays the same age, man.

Seth Davis' Twitter. This is his personal ballot, not the final rankings.

I think we'll jump Pitt, Illinois, St. Louis, Xavier, and maybe Creighton this week.

I'll guess 26-28th in the polls, getting in will require getting past RMU and BGSU.

0 votes is kind of ridiculous since we received votes last week and won our only game.  Voters must take RPI into account to make their votes, because I see no reason why we did not receive the same or a few more votes than last week.

Ohio is 27th in the AP poll with 28 votes. Creighton is 26th with 86.

Ebb and flow of the schedule.  Sand Diego (beat Redlands - no shock) moved up, but then so did St. Mary's (two good wins: BYU, Pepp), Gonzaga (beat Port. and and X), Mid. TN (beat Ole Miss, S. Ala), and Vandy (big win over Marquette).  Just keep winning in the conference.  AP is nice showing.

Disappointing...you'd think at least the MAC's representative would vote for OHIO.

The USAT poll is by coaches, which may make some difference.  Maybe they had greater expectations for us against Kennesaw.

Honestly...before NCAT & Kennesaw, I was thinking we may be a Top 25 team.  Since then, I am not so sure.  I can understand voters moving down a team from unimpressive victories.  Just got to get a couple more impressive wins this week and we will be in.

I asked a week or so ago if wins over our coming not so good opponents could cause us to drop.

I don't see why it would.  It makes no sense....So, of course, it did for some people.

It is disappointing that we weren't able to crack the top 25.  I guess there's always a chance next year if things break right again.  Now it's time to focus on the MAC.
