Happy New Years to all the Bobcatattck people.
Hopes for 2012 another bowl game victory and the Basketball team making it to the sweet 16.

This has been a very tumultuous year at our house, but the Cats' successes in football and basketball have been a real bright spot. Despite the Mayan predictions, I hope that 2012 brings all of you peace, love, joy, prosperity and much happiness.

Come on, let's set our sights high -- FINAL FOUR, Baby!

Pataskala, the Mayans didn't actually predict the end of the world in 2012.  One cycle of their calendar ends and another begins.

Key Quote: "The short answer is: The Maya Long Count calendar "started," not at zero, but at 13.0.0.0.0; and in late December 2012 it will reach 13.0.0.0.0 again for the first time in 5125 years, like a clock striking midnight. If you believe that the Maya regarded this recurrence as significant, rather than a coincidence, then perhaps they also believed [the] coming day in 2012 might herald a new 'Creation.'" (Emphasis mine)
