This is one of the things that I don't like about the switch to semesters - for the first two weeks of the MAC season, the students won't be back on campus yet.  We'll have more 2100 but it's just not the same environment without the band, cheerleaders, dance team and the students. Well - then we should sell lot's of good deal seats above the lower bowl to local fans - more $ in than free students admission. Um.  It isn't like people are clamoring at the doors and we're turning them away because there are too many students and not enough seats... I'm still not sold on semesters being much of an improvement in any way.
