The basketball board on Miamihawktalk has been funnier than HBO this season.

I am so excited about this game! I went into my bobcat vault last night and pulled out my 1994 MAC Champions t-shirt. I'll be sporting it at this game and will officially retire it with #20. It seems only fitting to do so. Go Cats!

These guys are a turnover machine. 237 turnovers to 172 assists. That's an astonishing number and very similar to what they did last season. So get after them defensively and make them speed up their game. Keep the pressure on and don't let up.

who was it that had the avatar of a distraught Coles throwing his hands up and asking "where's the meat in my chilito?" I laughed at that everytime I saw it, that should be made into a life sized poster.

I think a lot of Miami fans hope we leave Charlie up in the rafters along with #20.

A long-time friend who is a Miami grad emailed me that very sentiment earlier this morning.  His closing words: "Talk about time for a coaching change!"

My brother (Miami grad) says the same thing. He's earned the right to retire on his terms but his terms should be this year.   How long do you think a coach at Ohio would last with an average attendance under 2,000?

Ironically, I think Charlie is still a  good coach.  His roster is depleted this year due to suspension and injuries.  But most seasons, Miami is contending for the MAC title.

I'll be streaming the game tomorrow. Anybody know what can I expect as far as halftime coverage and quality? Will I be able to hear the presentation? Will the video stream be more stable than Kent State? Let's win by 50.

We are sorry for the quality issues in the Kent State stream.  The audio stream was solid all the way through, but the problem with the video stream/audio hookup to the video stream was because of a cable issue.  If there is an issue, we try to correct it as fast as we can.  Most times you can be able to sync the video with the audio if there are any issues.

Our video stream goes live at gametime, but you will want to listen online to our radio network pregame at 1:30.  In addition to our produced open, rewind, Groce interview and scouting report on Miami, we will air the full interview that we did on Friday with Gary Trent.  The whole piece runs 10 minutes long, and it's a worthwhile listen.  He was awesome.

During halftime, our radio coverage will step away for scores, ads and highlights, but our camera will still be on, and we will try to get as much sound from the ceremony as we possibly can.

Friends, it's hard not to get swept up in all of the emotion surrounding this special day.  Gary Trent Day, a sold out Convo and Miami...if you can't be there, we will do our best to bring Athens to wherever you are!

Go Bobcats!

We're 11pt. favorites. IF this is Charlie's last harrah in the Convo I'm going to miss the guy. His roster is depleted this year, but that guy can coach and his banter with the Ozone over the years has been priceless.

Russ,

I know you guys have sponsor stuff to do at halftime, but you guys should seriously consider sticking with the entire Gary Trent Ceremony at half. I promise you that the site will not have more people on it than it will today.

Thanks and enjoy a day you'll never forget.

Will Evan be putting together a video when it's all said and done recapping the Trent ceremony?

Still hard to believe that the league didn't put this one on TV.

Big movement on the line. It opened at 11.5 but it's down to 9.5 in most casinos.   CMU-WMU also a big mover. Opened at 6.5 but it's now at 8 at most and even 8.5 at one.

Having the same problem.  Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.  The radio feed is fine.
