I thought you guys might find this interesting! Chemistry wins championships!! Pictured: Nick Kellogg, Stevie Taylor, Kevin Gray & Trey Burke. Taylor and Kellogg played on the same AAU team in the 6th & 7th grade. AAU final 4 in the 5th & 6th grade. Had Nick not got hurt, AAU National Champions!!!

Mick was huge and obviously Stevie Playing up a year but that is a big difference. Mookie Teague (UK) and Jeremiah Davis' (cincy) team was a year behind this team IIRC?

It is most interesting to go back to those old AAU programs and see who they played against. I remember TOmmy coming ou t of the required team meetings (oddly enough held at Devaughn Washingtons HS) and saying something to the effect that "this is my recruiting class....but looking around half these guys will flunk out or be doing drugs by the time we get there" , still, the first look at Calathes, Love, Singler, Mayo et al was pretty sobering.

ANy memory of who these guys saw on the way through the Nationals?

Kevin Gray played at Reynoldsburg, at Morehead State if I remember right.
