If DJ's wrist injury is anything serious, that's a season-changing moment right there.  Lose him then suddenly you have to start Taylor and contemplate playing McKinley significant minutes OR let Nick play some point.  Problem with that, though, is you lose his ability to just float around on the 3Point-Line as he would have to have the ball in his hands and would need to concentrate on distributing.  That changes the whole dynamic of the team.  In short, here's praying that it's nothing serious.  This could be a special season, don't want something as unfortunate as that to ruin it.

DJ just tweeted that he's fine.

You know what Frank Solich likes most about coaching in the MAC? While he gets older, his coaching competition stays the same age, man.

Wait, wait.  I thought DJ didn't run the offense well and took horrible shots.  No?

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

If he can tweet from his phone his wrist is probably okay.

Luckily it sounds like DJ is ok. Though since the question was posed I'll say that I think you could have expected to see a lot of Walt Offutt running the point before expecting lots of minutes from a walk on.

From my vantage point right behind him it looks like it was a serious stinger or maybe a sprain - but hard to tell if wrist or hand. That it's the left hand is scary part - but he was really more calmed down after they checked movement of fingers, wrist, checking for tender spots, and then the ice bag on.

Did anybody see what happened on the play? I didn't know he was hurt until the whistle blew and heard Offutt yell "where's Coop?"

I would seriously consider resting him now if necessary so as to ensure this isn't something that lingers into March.  Let Stevie & Nick run the point until DJ gives this thing time to heal.  Toledo & EMU are important, but not as important as Cleveland.

Even if the X-rays are negative, he could have a sprained wrist. If so, that could be an issue the rest of the season. So let's see what happens.

Sounds like DJ is just fine.
