This message is for the men in our BA.com family. As you may be aware, the CMU game is a platform for prostate cancer awareness. The billing is "Be Blue." Here's a commercial that addresses the subject impactfully but will never appear on TV in the U.S. (be aware that it is NOT intended for young audiences): Rhian Touches Herself

LOL that's awesome. I'd better hear the student section chanting, "Rufio! Rufio! Ru-fi-Ooooooooo"

Central is a team that looks good getting off the bus but has had problems establishing any consistency this season or the past several seasons.  They have some good talent but for some reason they have had a hard time meshing it.  They are a team you have to take seriously because at any time they are capable of having a good game.

They are largely playing underclassmen...primarily because they have had so much attrition and dismissals over the past few seasons...(JSF correct me if I'm wrong...).

Hey, if you're hanging around in Athens post-game, live music at the Smiling Skull Saloon and the cover charge goes directly to the Athens Area Vietnam Veterans of America DiDi Mau scholarship fund.  Cash scholarships are designated for Athens County high school seniors who are heading to college and are sons/daughters/grandchildren of Vietnam era vets.  About 80% attend OU.
((Athena, just pretend it's another music blow-out at the West End Tavern.))

Wanna share the time that this starts?  I could be persuaded to hang around later if the better half is willing.

Is it true that our Convo PA announcer will tell the 'Nam vets in attendance how they could have gone to Miami instead?

That's kind of an update of this one, which I think is better.

Too many attempted 3's!  I believe Russ said we've shot 17 now with a little under 8 minutes left....in the first half.

CMU is a not very talented team which did not play very well today.  Today was pretty much just a scrimmage.

The Chippewas were the saddest sack team I've seen in some time. Nobody seemed to care. Players jogged on defense as our guys ran by. There was no discernible offensive game plan. Zeigler has to go, but he won't.

Look, I know the CMU job is not an easy gig. You need a guy who really has IT. That's why I think you need to recycle after four years tops. The question is if the CMU administration lets him go to year seven. If there is no fan base to demand dismissal, isn't this a good spot for the Commissioner or Director of Basketball Operations to offer some advice?

The Zeigler file:

Season Record (RPI)

11-12  7-15   (RPI 249)

10-11  10-21 (RPI 306)

Signs 4-year extension

09-10  15-15 (RPI 194)

08-09  12-19 (RPI 297)

07-08  14-17 (RPI 184)

06-07  13-18 (RPI 226)
