The Cats need to win Friday night if they hope to get a bye in the tourney.  The four teams left for the final two spots are Ohio (10-5), Kent (10-5), EMU (9-6) and BGSUcks (9-6).  If Ohio doesn't win Friday night, their tiebreakers aren't favorable.  They split with Kent and BG, but lost to EMU.  BG and Kent also split.  EMU beat BG but lost to Kent.  Here's how the head-to-heads look:

Four-way tie (two byes available):  EMU 2-1; Kent 3-2; Ohio 2-3; BG 2-3.  EMU & Kent get the byes.
Ohio/Kent/EMU tie (two byes available):  Kent 2-1; EMU 1-1; Ohio 1-2.  EMU & Kent get the byes.
Ohio/Kent/BG tie (two byes available): All three are 2-2.  Other tiebreakers apply, but Ohio should get a bye (haven't time to figure this one out yet).
Ohio/BG/EMU tie (only one bye available; Kent would have won the other): EMU 2-0; Ohio 1-2; BG 1-2.  EMU gets the bye.

It all boils down to this:  BEAT FIAMI.

We will get by.
We will get by.
We will get by.
We will survive.

There's only one spot left; Kent is in, BG is out.

We have to play Miami in Oxford, on senior night, more than likely Charlie's last Ohio game, with playoff seeding on the line for us.  If Miami plays its cards right and comes out with a nothing-to-lose attitude that they more than deserve at this point in the season, it may be a long night. Hopefully, we can stay composed, play like the better team and not let Fiami stay close to us like they did all last game.

We are in this postion because of two terrible road losees to Toledo and EMU.  There should be no overlooking to the next game. Its win time. We gotta get a W and grab a 2 or three seed.  This team has shown what its able to do when they focus. Miami is 9-19.........If this team expects to win in Cleveland they gotta take care of business in Oxford and get atleast a bye to the quauters. Its a rough road as the 5th seed.  Ohio has to step of up and beat a team they should beat.
