It's 8:48 a.m. in Dublin and only 6 degrees.And, yes, M%^&i still sucks.

I look forward to today's game -- I love Charlie Coles. He embraces the fun side of a rivalry and how it can fuel both teams.

I've been on the fence about making the trip to the game today, but then I read the article in today's "Oxford Press" and there's this quote at the bottom:

“We’ve played in front of bigger audiences than anyone in our league,” Coles said. “Over 9,000 at Duke, 16,00 at OSU, 13,500 at Dayton, 16,300 at Kansas. None of those will be as hostile as the one we’ll face (today).”

Alright, I'm in.

Great news, Shab.

Thanks for sharing the quote. -- this is what I'm talking about re: Charlie and his appreciation for the rivalry.

I look forward to seeing that O Zone jumping and  the 2011 debut of the LOVE's Green Sports Jacket.

It's 9:40, The Optimist© has to go meet with his Business Cluster group in Copeland Hall, and I don't know how we will focus on the 10 page industry report we need to compile with the large sucking noise that I'm hearing in Greater Athens today.

I've seen crazier things happen.

It'st 9:54, it dawns on me that looking at the time and notating that Miami still sucks is pointless, because to note that Miami still sucks indicates that at some point we expect them to stop sucking. And, friends, that ain't happening.

11:04am.

I've been listening to my 110 CD as I get ready for the day.  Will be rolling out to the Convo to head in as the gates open at 12:30.

Miami still sucks.

After reading this and thinking about what you said, it dawned on me that a better way to say it then would be Miami has and forever will suck.

The opposing team sucks!

It's 81 degrees in Houston, Texas as the cold front has been sucked north-eastward by Miami.

It is 32 degrees in Bristol, Connecticut, and the snow from the last couple days lays on the grass.  The undershirt I'm wearing to work today says, "Muck Fiami."

2:25 PM, Athens. Grey sky, cold rain. Even God gets sad when He thinks of Miami.
