Akron projected as a #15 seed - if lesser teams end up winning their conf tournament they should get bumped - but it's looking like another 14 seed for the MAC if Akron, Ohio, Buffalo or Kent win the tournament.

 *conference leader (teams)
1-Kentucky* 2-Syracuse* 3-Kansas* 4-North Carolina*
8-Missouri 7-Ohio State 6-Michigan State* 5-Duke
9-Marquette 10-Baylor 11-Georgetown 12-Michigan
16-Wichita State 15-Florida State 14-Wisconsin 13-Indiana
17-Florida 18-UNLV 19-Louisville 20-Temple*
24-Notre Dame 23-Gonzaga 22-Murray State* 21-Vanderbilt
25-Creighton* 26- San Diego St.* 27-New Mexico 28-Memphis*
32-Purdue 31-Kansas State 30-Iowa State 29-Saint Mary's*
33-Cincinnati 34-Alabama 35-Virginia 36-Saint Louis
40-Connecticut 39-West Virginia 38-California 37-Southern Miss
41-Harvard* 42-Long Beach* 43-Washington* 44-Mississippi St.

I would be okay with a #15 seed in the Midwest region. As broke as I am, I could still make it to Columbus for a game, no problem.

If we get lucky enough to make it, most projections have us as a 14 seed. Six projections have us in with an average seed of 14.0.

Akron is in by far more projections but at an average seed of 14.3. Buffalo is also projected in by a few sites, their average seed is a 14.5.

I could do a trip to Pittsburg, too.  I mean this is all super best-case scenario.  Don't get me wrong, we take the MAC tourney and have to play in a city across the country, I won't be complaining in the least.  It all starts with getting hot in Cleveland.
