I like the overall effort and intensity.  But someone stole my man's offensive mojo.  Yikes.

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

This is a very puzzling question.  I don't have any answer to it.  I just hope Coach Groce does.  We need Baltic to have a good game tomorrow and get that mojo back!

Seems to be settling for jumpers or backing in and passing the ball out.  I don't think he went to the rim once tonight.  Earlier in the year, i thought he was.

I have a feeling that his knee is still bothering him because he hasn't been the same player on the offensive end since.  He can't seem to do that spin move he had anymore. Now that being said he was great on the boards and on defense tonight.

I think you're on to something there per the knee

Part of the problem has been his shot trajectory, though hardly over arching in the past, he at least had some sort of loft to his shot. Lately his outside shots all seem like line drives. Perhaps this also causes him to lose some confidence in driving to the bucket. Yet, he still doesn't hesitate to back in, crash the boards and play some solid defense. Perhaps he can turn it all around in the sem-finals and finals. If we get into the big dance and performs well, few will remember this rough patch!

Key word highlighted above. I see a player that appears to have lost his confidence with the ball in his hands. Perhaps partly due to not wanting to get fouled and sent to the line where he has struggled all year.

6-8 and he has no game at all facing the basket. Settles for fade aways guarded by players three inches shorter than he is. He has to score more for the Cats to get out of the MAC. The knee may be a factor to some extent but would not cause you to miss a wide open lay-up. He fell away on a lay-up attempt.

I can't disagree that Ivo isn't taking players to school in the paint like he did last year.  But he is still a positive overall - I think his defense has improved, and he does have versatility going in and out depending on the flow, and can handle the ball pretty well for a big fella...Makes some nice passes and doesn't turn the ball over much.  Just needs attack the rim better.

I didn't know he is dealing with a knee issue.

The guy still brings it.  9 rebounds.  Very good on defense last night.

Just seems a bit lost on offene.

I suggest breathing through his eyelids or wearing a garter or something.  Maybe we can sacrifice a chicken too.

You should have heard me screaming at the TV when Mix said they needed to pull him a couple of times.  Yep, his offense is struggling but he was huge on defense and big reason Toledo got almost no offensive rebounds.

Also what's with the sleeve?  That could be affecting his shot trajectory.

it *MUST* be a medical reason. That is an NCAA mandate that there be a reason to wear it.

They have been getting picky lately. If you have more than one logo on a pair of sox , i.e. one on each side they make you tuck them or take them off. Under armour with logo fron t and back is illegal.

First half he acted like that arm was really hurting.  (surprised that you were all talking about a knee instead of the arm)  Is he right handed or left handed?  I haven't looked at our tape of the game yet, but I am going to go check something right now before we take off for Cleveland.

I may be incorrect about the knee. I knew he had been dinged and thought I had heard it was a knee but could be completely off base there.

He stole his own Mo by deciding to be an outside shooter and not using his ability to create under the hoop. Makes me think he is trying to prove he has an outside shot and I don't see it helping the team. I can always remember our pitchers insisted they could hit. It only took a couple of intra squad games to put that to bed.

I found what I was looking for.  With 2:13 remaining in the first half, he bumped into an opposing player.  Following that you can see him hold his arm and look at it several times.  Slow motion helps you see it when he's running down the court.  With 1:41 left he is lined up in the free throw lane and he holds his arm and flexes his elbow.
I think it's the 2nd half where he makes some hard passes with his left hand.
I think he had a sore right arm already and perhaps reinjured it during this game.

Looking forward to tonight's game.  Hope everyone has lots of Mojo!!!!!!!
