We are the headliner in the write-up.

I've seen crazier things happen.

The notable home teams include: Davidson, Murray State, Northern Iowa, St. Mary's, and Utah State.

There appear to be more quality home teams than away teams, that should work in our favor.

It stinks that the CAA isn't involved this year.

Chance to add a quality road game. That should really shore up our schedule.

Will we be put on ESPN 2 or relegated to ESPN3 again?

I'd say wins = ESPN2, lose = ESPN3.... so yea.

I would love to get a shot at Murray State. Its a regional game too so it may not be too far fetched that we get that game. If both teams are ranked that would definitely be an ESPN or ESPN2 game

Wichita State and Ohio would be a great TV matchup.  Thats my prediction if we deliver on the season we are hoping for. It makes great sense for travel. Would be a great return game down the road. Unless we fall on our butts we should get a TV game. Fast start to MAC after a solid non-conference. ESPN banking on us to make up for losing VCU as a team in this event.

Keep in mind, ESPN has shown they don't care too much about travel when it comes to the marquee matchups.

Wow, would love a shot at Murray State or Wichita State. ESPN game for sure. Of course, we have to hold up our end of the bargain!!

It's too bad we don't get this game at home...would be a great addition to the schedule. On the bright side, we should get a return game from whoever we end up playing.

On a related note, anyone know when we owe UNC-Ashville the return game from last year? Thought they would be on the schedule.

I'm pretty sure they give you two seasons to play the return game. That way teams can play the return in a season when they have a home BracketBuster game, and not have to go on the road twice in one season as a result of BracketBusters. So we should be playing in Ashville next season.

This is correct. That's why Winthrop is on the schedule this season.
