I'll say it.  We should not lose this game.

Not only are we the more talented team; this is the most experienced, deepest team I've seen since I started following Ohio basketball religiously.  This is our toughest game so far, and Richmond is a good team, but this is a game I expect to win.  As always, anything can happen, and we need to show up to win.  With this team, I expect us to always show up...
We've got an elite defense.  When you play defense like we do, no teams should build up a big lead.  The games we lost last year were when we shot terribly.  If we shoot terribly, we probably won't win, but we don't need to shoot lights out Saturday to win.

Richmond has plenty of talent of their own. Small point guard Anthony Kendall is lighting it up, shooting an effective goal percentage of 60.4 and turning it over less than once a game. Shooting guard Darien Brothers has a 55% eFG. And between the two of them, they have 39 free throw attempts already. Forward Derrick Williams is very effective inside, scoring, rebounding, and getting to the line. The Spiders go deep as well, with nobody on team averaging 30 minutes.

Like us, their defense has been very impressive. They're surrendering 0.854 D-PPP. They're scoring 1.086 O-PPP. This is a game we should win but can lose if we're not on our game. We need to play well.

Should be the best game so far this season. Unfortunately, may be lucky to have 1,500 at the game.  Holiday weekend and OSU/Michigan game is overkill.

Fortunately, they played Tuesday night, so we'll be pretty even on days off.  They're 4-1 with a schedule similar to ours -- Wilmington, Hampton, Wofford -- and 6 pts the closest.  Their only loss is a 15-pter to Minn.  This'll be tough.

We should learn a lot about our team on both ends of the floor in this game. I especially look forward to seeing how we play defensively against Richmond's Princeton style offense.

Looking forward to this game, especially to get the taste of football season out of my mouth. I think Ohio shows up in a big way and wins against a quality team saturday by 10 to 15. This could be a special season and I think this team has looked like they havent missed a beat from last year

Their leading assist man (Cedrick Lindsay) at guard is out with a concussion.

At the game at the half, 27 - 30 Richmond. They're not letting us take too many good shots. These guys know how to guard.

32 - 7 run with a ton of 3's. Impressive finish given that Richmond had us bottled up early.

THAT was an impressive second half.

I love our defense.

In my mind, I was hoping for a double digit win because that would be the first real indication this team is as good as we hoped. I never considered running away with it. I think we're for real.

It appeared Richmond ate a turkey dinner at the half.

Only issue was Williams schooling Ohio's bigs inside at times. Otherwise just solid.

4,211 in attendance.  Not bad for a Thanksgiving weekend with O$U-Michigone playing at the same time.
