Tonight sure was fun.

I think we need to leave the MAC.

Fire Jim Christian thread in 5... 4... 3...

Small silver lining about this game; it knocks us down a notch.  Sounds bad, but maybe we'll come out next week pissed off.  I hope that this stings for the rest of the season so we have the mentality this will NEVER happen again.

Why aren't we in the top 25?

Yes, if we'd played some tougher competition prior to this game we might not have looked so much like a team of deer caught in the headlights.  This was one of the worst performances I can remember by an Ohio team in years.  This was not the same team we all learned to love at the end of last year.  We've gotten soft and I think our schedule of cupcakes, other than RMU (no offense to SBU and Richmond), has lead us to a situation where we are not prepared for top-level competition.

I started to think that, but then... wait, our team just lost its last game. How could the boys need a wake-up call?

This one looked like the game at Kansas a couple/few years ago, though the final margin wasn't quite as bad.

Huge difference between an off night and getting beat like a Salvation Army drum.

Everybody has an off night now and again.  Not everybody loses by 26 points.

It reminded me of the Nawlins Bowl. Memphis made us look like we were standing still.  At least we have room for improvement.

Actually yes, lets schedule more teams like this. We can play with memphis. We looked awful today but this team will never get any better or get any recognition loading up on Woffords. We can play high major basketball. The rebounding concerns me and DJ Coopers insistence on taking 30 foot heat check 3s though. He looked like complete garbage tonight and why cant we get back on D? I have questions, and Im upset we lost, but we need to play these teams to get to the next level.

If you play teams like this on a regular basis you learn to adjust and compete. I want to be challenged and know where we stack up with the best. This loss will help us.

Wondering why we didn't have to play a lot of teams "like this" to avoid looking like a deer in the headlights last year?

Come on guys. It was a bad game against a good team.  We didn't lose because we didn't play this type of team before.  These guys have played this type of team plenty of times. Or do you think that March is too far back for them to remember?

Am I the only one who looks like the team is taking it easy these games? I have yet to see the high flying team as last year. I think there trying to keep the players healthy and make a run towards the end. Remember, we can lose 5 or 6 games and be fine.
