Latest  Blog for those who are following along. Rough season so far but food , lodging and scenery are nice.

A moment of papa pride.

Looked at this picture and thought about all those years spending hours of f time in the gym working on perfecting the shot. Save for the left thumb I am amazed that he has taken that level of shot mechanics a step further. That still tells me he is still working hard and improving his game. He spent this summer teaching shooting clinics across the east coast. Hope we can get him working with some more local programs this summer and really, when it is done overseas I hope he gets a chance to coach and pass it on.  FB photo link

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Winter comes and asks how you spent your summer.....

The game loves and rewards those who love and reward the game

LOL

I think that is the big donor area!

Lots of things over there are different. COmes with being a sport playing second fiddle to the obsession with "Football".  Bench is primarily made up of furniture from IKEA.

Lugano is a city with over 120 sports teams according to the locals and verified by the websites. Getting lost as a basketball team is pretty easy ...especially with 2 profranchises in one town.

Give up to get I guess. Basketball Academy is pretty cool though. Looks like an Indiana Saturday morning at the local grade school, Optimists Club, Y or Feildhouse for the most part. Pros teach in the Academy from Grade school up tot he U18 level.  Unlike the D league they take care of agent's fees, taxes, nice apartment, car, couple of meals a day and some other perks while you bank the salary....if you are smart. SOme agents are not letting guys into war torn countries or places where the economies are shaky and you might not get paid.

Looks like Saturday mornings are pretty much the same everywhere
