The Nutter Center as #3?????????

I love the Raiders, actually go to more Raider games each year vs Flyers, but "The Nut House" is not a great basketball venue in my opinion.....its too much of a multipurpose center and better for concerts and monster truck shows.

Its like watching basketball in a Wal-mart...they have one of the worst scoreboards above the court as it doesnt show a score of the game, you have to look into the corner scoreboards by the ceiling for that (although I did hear that this was getting addressed, and may already have been addressed, with a new hanging board).

If you are sitting anywhere near the floor, you have to walk up 999 rows of seats to get to the concourse level where concessions, restrooms and anything else that is going on is located.

Parking is nothing short of terrible if there is any kind of a crowd....you park at least 1/4 mile away on the other side of a pond created for drainage, and its a balls cold walk in the middle of January....

The best part of the basketball experience of the Nutter Center are the Ushers, they make sure no one is walking through the aisles while the ball is in play, much like a hockey game.......

Love the Convo as #2 though, its like being #1, in my opinion, cause nobody can touch the experience of UD Arena....I just wish I could get to more games in Athens.

Interesting commentary... he was there for an above-average crowd but called it disappointing in size. at the same time, some of our smaller crowds are noisier and he could have attended a Miami or Akron game and had a much better experience.  Also, I hate that he was there for Prostate cancer day and caught everyone wearing blue. LIke the cause and like that we do it, but not in line with our image.  However, this is not as egregiously offensive as the Ohio University "Promise" commercial where the girl is wearing red.  Don't get me started.

Blue and white were Ohio's original colors, but red is crazy.

I've seen games in 9 of those arenas.  That's more than I would have guessed if not provided the list to review.

The renovations really have made UD Arena a great place to watch a game.

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....
