The Bowling Green - MSU game will be on ESPNU tonight at 7. In reading the BG board, it appears there are still tickets available for purchase. Apparently, they tried to do the ticket deal where you must buy tickets to two other games in order to get MSU tickets. Miami tried that tactic a few years ago when they hosted Cincinnati and caught a ton of heat for it in the media.

Even with no students on campus, it would be very sad if tonight's game is not a sellout.

BG and MSU are tied at 13 at the under 12 timeout. So far, BG has brought enough intensity to compensate for the talent gap in the first eight minutes.

This will likely be the largest crowd in the Stroh Center's early infancy, but there are still too many empty seats for having a college basketball blue blood in your small-town gym...students on campus or no students on campus.

If they did the ticket gimmick like you said, that's where they shot themselves in the foot. BG fans don't care enough to buy 3 games, and the MSU fans that would've came probably bailed as well. Though they probably saved themselves from hosting a MSU home game . . .

Boy - The BG crowd is lame.  Lame, lame, lame.  Good grief.

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

It's Christmas break, so you have nothing but locals.  Looks like it's just about a sellout.  They made some noise early on, but now they're down by 11+ so they're really quiet.

Very interesting that Jordan Crawford has not been on the floor since the under 4 media timeout.

Wow, Bowling Green just quit with about two minutes to go. With a little luck, a ten point lead can disappear in that time if you exert yourself. They just let the Spartans run down the clock.

Winthrop held close to OSU. They ended up losing by 10, but held OSU to 65 points. That should make us feel a little better. Winthrop will not finish the season as a 300+ rpi team.

Maybe.  Maybe not.  I'll tell you this.  They have one hell of a coach.  Very fiery, know's exactly what he is doing, drew up two great gameplans the last two games.  He will not be around Winthrop long, I don't think.

Agreed and is post-game comments regarding the Conn. shooting says a lot about his character...I like the guy.
