Players Quotes

I don't know about anyone else but after reading today's article in the Messinger I am a little tired of hearing all these players talk about this year.
Quotes like "it's early in the year", "we know what we need to do to turn things around", "we are all on the same page", etc. etc.
Frankly if all that is true then why can't the deliver a better result?
To me they all just know what to say to the press but obviously they are not playing up to their words.
They say their are not panicking! This team could wake up on Feb 1 and find themselves with a loosing record! Then what will they all be saying.
If you are as you say you are then the record should show that. Don't say 1 thing and do another.
Today's game is just as important as the last and the one before that. 1 game won't define the season unless it serves a valuable lesson that we can see in the win and lose column.
While I know every year is different, it is difficult to comprehend why when you return your starting 5 and the next best 4 players from last years Sweet 16 team, why is the record 8-5?
Well, the only change has been the coaching staff........could that be the reason? It is certainly logical to me.

What they said shows the maturity they need to actually turn things around.

And you will NEVER hear college athletes actually say, "We're just bad right now, and we don't know if we're going to get better." Is that what you REALLY want them to say? Geez, would you freak out about that, too?

You're constant bickering of late is already old. Seems to me like the coaching staff looks quite fine today. Let it go.
