I'll be honest. I don't go to either school. I never visited, and in fact, despite living in western Pennsylvania until I left for college, I never even considered going to school in Ohio. That said, I've met a number of people who attended both OU and Miami. I have never met a group of people who love their school more than the folks who went to OU. They talk about it as though it were Eden. Folks from Miami were like me -- college was very good, they learned a lot, etc. But, my lord, there is something in the water in Athens. For the record, I went to Ithaca College as an undergrad, and Villanova and Florida as a graduate student. I don't love any of those schools as much as OU people love their school.

Additionally, there doesn't seem to be any difference in the career or life outcomes of people from either school, except that more people from OU in my small sample seem to have met their future spouses while in college and they seem generally happier (no offense to my Miami friends).
