My first thought was "How can Kent be that high?".  Then I looked at who should replace them.  Yuk.

I'm surprised to see Miami that high. I would rank Ball State and Eastern ahead of them.

I'm probably higher on Miami than most. No reason to think Ball State will trend upward, but I see potential in the RedHawks. Eastern is a little harder to figure out.

I agree that the BGSU-EMU game recently was a setback to the entire history of basketball.

OTOH, I thought Eastern looked pretty good vs. CMU at home last night.

Kent State and Eastern could be the dangerous teams that could threaten to knock off Akron or Ohio in the tournament.

I agree that Akron is currently playing the best hoops in the league.  As an Ohio fan, I hope that changes as the conference season wears on.
