Hey folks, I'm a long time lurker, finally now a member here.  Quick background, I have been going to OU hoops games since the Gary Trent days, then went to OU, now work at OU and have been a season ticket holder for several years.  I refuse to leave!

Anyway, in checking scores and blogs this morning, I noticed a few of our previous opponents had good nights last night.  Richmond came back from down 7 late to knock off #19 VCU in OT.  That may help improve the appearance of that non conference win for us.  Also, if anyone remembers Travis Bader from Oakland, the SG who torched the Cats for 29 earlier this year in the Convo, he dropped 47 on IUPUI last night.  He hit 11/18 from three and 47 points is (according to what I read) the highest single game point total in D1 this season.

Welcome, 100%!

That is an unreal night for Bader, but you could see his potential to score big when Oakland played us earlier.

I listened to that VCU vs Richmond game on Tune In Radio - which everyone should download and use - and it was a hell of an exciting game. Apparently VCU pulled out a win in similar fashion last week.

I remember sitting in the Oakland game in the Convo and watching Ric totally take Bader out of the game.  I bet he scored, what 4-5 second half points compared to 20+ in the first half or so?  That guy would be a force in any conference.  One heck of a player.  Too bad for Oakland they don't have much of a complement to his scoring.
