Watching that lead evaporate made me think about how Belmont was able to get back in that game at Murray St.

The Bobcats ability to blow a lead combined with Belmont's ability to overcome a deficit is a concern heading into that game.  Ohio will have to shoot really well that night and have very few turnovers.  They will have to box out and rebound better than usual too.  The bracket buster game is winnable - but it won't be easy to pull off.  To win it might require Ohio's best game of the year to this point.

Road games at BG, Belmont and Buffalo are all going to be very difficult to win. Really need Nick to start knocking down 3's.

Need to recruit some muscle for the painted area.  Can't always live and die by the 3-point jump shot.  Belmont will guard the perimeter bigtime.  They may try to press after made buckets too, to slow the game down.  The won't win a "track meet" style game vs. Ohio.

I invite them to press often.

The lead started dwindling when Kent started making threes.  Belmont is going to pose the same problem; they're a very good 3-pt shooting team.  We need to defend the perimeter really well to beat them.  Maybe not press, but at least a lot of in-your-face D in the forecourt.

it just felt like the Cats relaxed once they were up 12. need to step on the throat and beat them by 50 if possible. simply seemed like the Cats felt they had the game midway through the second half.

i did like Ivo's hard work today and Nick did things to help since the shot still isn't falling. saw a lot of things to like. but keep the foot on the gas please.

Seems to me more teams are gonna make dj get rid of the ball by double teaming him way up top.  He's gotta find open guys and extra passes will need to be made to find guys wide open for the three.

I wouldn't be concerned. KSU hit a few 3s pretty quickly, DJ was sick, KSU has improved, we got slaughtered on the boards & Walt/Kellogg went 0/8 from downtown.

Slightly tweak a couple of those things, and it's a different game.

What a day at the Convo.....Wow!
