Very impressed and knows her stuff. Also called out the OZONE for lack of energy after OHIO got off to a lethargic start. Said OZONE claims to be one of the best student sections in the country and she was getting on them. What has happened to the OZONE??? National TV game and I can't even hear them.

PS Sure would be nice to get a rebound once in awhile.

They ate that McDonald's and went into a food coma.

I agree with the OP. Ive never heard of her before but she seems to know her stuff and has done an overall pretty good job. Sometimes its a mixed bag with ESPNU announcers but overall this group seems to have it together

Except the lead announcer said Coop had 2 fouls and had no idea he fouled out until a few moments later. Kind of an important detail to keep track of.....

Agree and I can't believe nobody said that Kellogg should have dribbled the clock out instead of scoring that lay-up and giving Kent State a chance to tie.

He would have been fouled if he didn't.

She was pretty good.  Funny to read in the chat room the complaints about her at first, despite the fact that she was decent --though not great--through out.

I believe he had time to peel it out to a corner and burn the clock.

Maybe, but in the heat of the moment...

I do agree with that Dragon. Just watched it again...he had time to dribble away..defender was well back. More than anything....it's a teaching point for Christian.

Not having DJ's fouls straight was a crucial mistake, but otherwise, I thought that was the best crew I've heard on an ESPN broadcast of an Ohio game in a long, long time.

Now if we could just get the games shown in HD...

Great point Tom. I really thought this was the best called OHIO game this year..minus the errors on DJ fouls and not bringing up how Kellogg should have thought about dribbling out the clock. Kent State still got a great look at the buzzer.

Did Nick look back? I don't know. I'd take the points.

Kent could have fouled off the ball as well.  Take the points there.  But we were celebrating and not getting back on D at the end.

I agree, it was one of the better called Ohio games I've heard. Just a couple of other misses beyond the ones mentioned- not knowing Keely's first bucket was his 1000 pt was a miss and not mentioning Coop was sick and barfing on the bench was a miss. Would have explained why he was being pulled at odd times and why his FT shots kept coming up short.

overall though, good game. Ozone came though too.

My only "criticism" would be that she dissed the 11 am start time with a comment about players not being phyisically ready to play that early in the day.  But that would be ESPN's problem; she was just telling it like it is.  I thought she was excellent overall.

Odd that they wouldn't mention Coop's food poisoning, but perhaps Christian didn't want Kent State to know anything about it as well.

I thought she overall did a good job.  Was quite critical about things... but was being real and saying it as it is.

She really called us out on a lot of things that I think many would agree with her on. She was rock-solid.

Bull.  The ozone is completely overrated. If it weren't for the band, no one in that section would have been heard today.  The band took up 1/3 of the section and the rest of the student body couldn't even fill the rest?  Pathetic. I don't care about the time. It wasn't that early.

Damn kids.
