Check out Jason's blog today on the Messenger site.
The comments and statements by Cooper were just what you would expect from a leader. He is confident in himself, his teammates, and the game plans.
After reading this blog I feel more hopeful that they have put the Akron loss behind them and have the right approach for this next game.
Our issue is not talent it's mental. Fix this and we will be dancing.

Like in another thread, I think it's key to get Kellogg and Baltic back in the fold playing aggressively. I'm not a basketball coach, but I'd give them the start at BG - both of them - and tell them I want aggressive, attacking basketball from them. Forget points - I want defensive intensity and rebounding.  We need 25 good mins a game from each in all phases of the game, not just perimeter shooting.

What's said in public and in the locker room are likely to be very different. I'm a believer that the locker room is the foundation for teamwork and an across the board commitment, and I've begun to wonder how Ivo's and Nick's disappearance may be related to that.

I also really liked hearing from Arkley about how much both teams appreciated the Convo atmosphere for the game.  I think 'Kron was amazed at what the Convo can produce compared to the JAR.  Some of the 'Kron players even hung around and engaged in friendy banter with the Ozone?  That's cool.  Sure I want to beat the pants off Akron and enjoy hating them, but I'm really pleased, esp after all the silly twitter stuff, that there seems to be some real respect between the programs.  It's going to make beating them in Cleveland all that much better and will be great to have 2 MAC teams in the dance pulling for each other.

You can be as hopeful as you want but the better team won both matchups. And they will win again unless we get some production from Nick and Ivo.

We wont have the adrenaline and momentum of 11k behind us in Cleveland. And Wilkens wont put up those numbers again. If you look at the last 4 games of last year when we went on our run Ivo and Nick each averaged around 10 points a game. We need that production and some scoring to come from someone other than DJ, Keely and Walt.
