Back to Top OhioCatFan General User Member Since: 12/20/2004 Location: Athens, OH Post Count: 14,787 Status: Offline     RE: Long-range prediction . . .    Posted: 3/19/2013 11:57:19 PM  Over his time here, I've always been very impressed with the way DJ analyzes a game in various post-game interviews.  He appears to me to have the mind of a coach, even complete with some good "coach speak" from time to time.  Walt may also make an excellent coach, but I just see DJ as a potential head coach, and my sense is that he really loves OHIO and will be a very loyal alumnus.  I really could see him coming back here after a number of years working his way up the coaching ladder.  Maybe an assistant somewhere for awhile, then a lower division head coach and then back to OHIO.  Just a hunch that something like this could happen. Let's hope that trend changes, although part of retiring a number is having the former player present for the ceremony.  I for one would like to see a few other numbers in the rafters besides just DJ's.
