In the words of an HC." YOu just got to know when you take a chance on a kid that his talents are greater than his sins." FOr one shining season AB's talent far outshone his sins...... Not sure what kind of response you are looking for there Optimist but I would not venture far down that road.
That is kinda my point Borna....
We could have a lengthy chat about Armon... That's not my point. My point is that you can't rip Christian for taking a chance on a highly skilled player with off court issues when Groce did the exact same thing. Did it work out for Groce? I'd say so. Sure, Armon ended up not graduating... He also led us on a magical run and helped set in motion a series of events that led to Groce getting paid.
I bet Groce would take Armon on again 100x over. Also, I would argue Anrio had LESS off the court problems than Armon did coming in. It didn't work out. Fine. That's the chance you take...
