I've got to congratulate the team on the fast start. I never thought they would be this good this early. It seems almost all of the guys have stepped up their games and NDour has been as good (or better) than advertised. My preseason fear about lack of scoring seems to not be a problem. In most if the last 10 years or so, I feel we would have lost at least 1 of the games we won.
So far, so good.

I enjoy the way that we are not extra-dependent on any one or two guys.  Team.

I am very surprised. It is very encouraging to see what Christian has done with the veteran players mixing with new talent.

Given the disappointment of the football season, this 6-1 start has offered some hope that hoops season may be better than I expected.

Ohio is #18 in the RPI at this time and projected to finish 23-7. This is a MAC finals type of team that is only going to get better as JC continues to develop the bench. It would be great if we could steal a game against UMass at home for the NCAA resume. Could this team as Belmont did last year pick up a #11 seed or higher? I know Ohio has to win the MAC tourney first but the stronger SOS may make a real difference with the selection committee. A quality performance against Ohio State reminded me of how #7-#10 seeds usually perform in the Round of 32/Sweet 16 against a Final Four opponent.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086

Long way to go before we can determine what kind of team we really have.  The next month or so will be very telling since we play five of our next seven on the road.

I'm not sure I agree with Monroe.  Scoring wise, we're seeing a lot of guys contribute for sure.  Still, I'm not sure I have a ton of confidence in low post play if N'Dour were to miss games due to an injury.  I like John Smith's effort and production this year a ton, but after him I'm not sure what we really have.

I really like OUr two new big guys, Ndour and Smith.  I realize this is Jon's 3rd season in green and white, but he has gone through a metamorphism.   Do we attribute that to the arrival of Ndour? JC's coaching?  A combination? Or something else?  Regardless, I love having two low post options.

I agree with OUVan.  I'm very pleased with the way the team is playing at the moment, but the true test of this team will be how they handle road games.  We will see how that develops.

I think one of the other "bigs"...Campbell or Mompremier needs to step up.  If I am JC I get these two guys some pt and figure out which one is a go.  We have two good point guards and some nice wing players.  Just need one more for depth in the 4/5 spot if we wanna stay big.  Otherwise we will see Hall and Johnson playing some 2 (and that's ok with me).
