Belmont is consistent...especially early season execution

UNC has not been real good since I saw them in Detroit a few years back. How you can have that many Burger Boys and not get them playing together is beyond me. Everyone loves to hate UK but if they were performing like the Heels have been there would be a lot more duscussion. ROy and UNC are darlings so not much is really said.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

He is shooting 60% from the floor and 100% on FT's. Not too shabby for a freshman.

Borna, you said UNC hasn't been good for a few years. They were a top seed and a tough team two years ago when they beat us -- they had to play great to do it -- and could/should have gone to the Final Four if not for their point guard being out.

Last year they were down, though there's little shame in losing to Kansas two straight years in the tourney.

I do not disagree with you in result but they do not seem to me to be the UNC that is perpetually powerful and begrudgingly likable. I thnk incedents like the Presbyterian fan that got ejected for yelling during a FT and their average performances by really good recruits and players have taken some of the shine off what has traditionally been a very good presence in college hoops. I am not a fan but I used to always pay attention when they came on ESPN .  Even with  Indiana kids or personal acquaintances on the squad there I have been unimpressed.. My friends that are UNC fans and wear their jackets and gear here in IN all defend the record but the fact remains that they seem to be just going through the motions and underachieving for the level of talent they have. Roy's Kansas squads played with more desire, passion and "team".  Since I saw them in Detroit in 08-09 season they have only won 6 of their games vs Top25 teams and that is counting #25 UVa, #22 Texas and #20 Illinois with UVa and Illinois being the only victories outside the DeanDome while losing a number of top 25 games at home.

I liked the team I saw in Detroit. Character, style and attitude were reflective of what we like about UNC as a Blueblood. These last 4 years have been IMHO pretty unimpressive in every regard from a program that has produced a lot of high character, highly skilled guys.

Watched some of the Belmont-VCU game yesterday and I have to say that I was very impressed with Bradds. He doesn't play like a freshman at all.  He reminded me of a much quicker Jeff Halbert.  Say what you will about John Groce and his staff but they can recruit.  I like what we have but it sure would have been nice to see Bradds and Caris Lavert in green and white.
