KMG Sports, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is pleased to announce that Cincinnati native and former professional basketball player BRANDON HUNTER has accepted a position with KMG as a player development associate.
The 6’7” Hunter attended Withrow High School in Cincinnati and Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He was selected in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics and played with the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, and short stints with the Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Bobcats, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
“Brandon brings to KMG a wealth of basketball knowledge and is an extremely talented individual with skills learned throughout his basketball career spanning approximately 10 years” said Richard L. Katz, President and CEO of KMG Sports. “We are excited to have such a quality individual join our company”, added Katz.
In addition to playing in the NBA, Hunter played professionally overseas through 2013 in several top leagues in countries such as Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, Germany, and Israel.

Brandon Hunter joins Richard Katz, Chet Ervin and Alex Glandorf in KMG’s basketball division. Other active members of the KMG family include Mike McCafferty, certified NFLPA contract advisor and attorney representing professional football players; Amanda Siegrist, attorney whose specialty is planning and implementing special fund raising events for professional athletes and coaches; and Alex Rodger, a former professional golfer and golf industry specialist.
