I don't mind going to the monitors but on a bang bang play that you had been making a similar call all game long why now? There were several other plays earlier in the game that were more questionable.  Just because you have the monitor does not mean you have to go there.  It seemed to take a lot of studying to make the call. If you really really need to go there then take a look and if it is obvious change it.  If you have to dissect it pixel by pixel then leave it alone.  If you are going to be that exacting then make the other 7 possessions you blew just as important

On balance I think the refs were good today.

I agree - I was pleased that they were not a significant factor in the game. The game was not as "sloppy" as I was expecting either, so that was likely a reason why. The refs just did not have as many opportunities as usual for a MAC game to get over-involved.

I think that the second monitor look (the one in OT) gave our guys---espec Mo--a few minutes of needed rest.  So, agree or disagree with the call, that helped.

The monitors can only be used to determine possession in the last 2:00 of the game and OT. They can be used to review technical fouls and whether a shot was a 2 pt or 3 pt shot any time during the game. The deflection off of Nick's thigh was with under a minute on the clock in regulation and the one off of Stevie was in OT.

In both cases a coach/player requested the review.  On the first one the Toledo coach was 15 feet away from the call and requested the replay.  On the second, i think it was Stevie who called for the review.

I've gone to the monitors several times in order to get the correct call on several close/questionable posts on bobattack.

Just watched the DVR of the last one and they blew it. It was stripped by a Toledo player, then touched by Stevie, but then grazed off Pearson. The ball flight clearly changed, I was surprised they didn't reverse it.
