While I understand that there are some things X is doing within this article that wouldn't be feasible, or apply to Ohio and The Convo, there are some great things being done to continue to upgrade their fan experience.

Applying what they're doing, could you imagine a little Jackie O's corner bar inside The Convo? Or a couple group areas that could really be used including the Skybox?

What I think is interesting and possibly not good about that craft beer area is that it's on the 200-level concourse. Craft beers, as most of us know, are usually more expensive than regular domestic beers, especially at sporting events. People up in the 200-level seats may not be willing to shell out more money for beers if they aren't doing it for the seats already. The people who can afford the craft beers are going to have to run up from the floor/100-level seats and get them? I don't know how I would feel about that.

It's a nice idea because the space up there at Cintas is virtually unused other than a few beer carts here and there, but I would have perhaps done something else rather than the craft beer deck.

I do like that they are finally taking advantage of the two rooms on the back wall behind the student section. Other than special events for alumni or big donors, those rooms are hardly ever used.

The only time I was in that arena was for a conference/training that took place in those two rooms. It was really funny because I was given the address to attend, but not the name of the venue. And then I arrive there. As a basketball fan nerd, I enjoyed the view!

I just like the creativity to add interesting things to the game day experience, and feel like more folks could be drawn in to attending Ohio games with little touches like this inside The Convo.

It's really essentially a dead space save for a few events/conferences each semester that they hold there. I've often wondered why they don't put some type of removable suites there for games, but maybe it's just not feasible.

I agree it's a creative concept and new is always good. It would be interesting to see OU connect with the local bars/restaurants in some way. The Jackie O's Beer Garden is something that should have happened years ago. Is there room for something like that inside the Convo?

I feel like there are concourse areas that could maybe be used. And the area behind the basket that used to house the band really could be utilized better.

I think Miller and Coors are our official beers, so I doubt they would be allowed to have Jackie O's in there from an advertising standpoint. You can't limit brands when selling though.

Guys, last I checked the only place we're selling alcohol is in the Rohr Room. Don't think that a beer garden is in the near future, at least under the current administration.

Corrections. Rohr "closet". Closet with no place to hang your coat. "Selling" alcohol looks like a stretch as well. Who wants to drink swill in a crowded closet.......

Yeah it could be utilized to house the band, for starters
