Ladies are 6-2 and seem to be playing pretty well (though I'm not sure of the strength of the oppo which we've faced). So, going well.

My memory is bad: Is the next recruiting class a high quality one that could see a lot of newbies challenging the returning players for court time...or is that class the one that's playing this season?

Actually, the women are 5-2 with their St. Francis win.. So far there were two newbies announced, one being Trey Burke's sister. The other Boldon seems to like a lot. I just wonder if they'll recruit more height. Jessing will be a great post player when she gets older.

Seems like thus far none of the freshman are challenging others for time. Ohio still has a lot of experience from last year's team. Doeseck has seen the most time and is playing fairly well. Her class of Katie Barker, Hannah Thome, Olivia Bower and Kendall Jessing will be very good moving forward. Don't forget about Taylor Agler either. She's an incredible shooter.

Monroe, we have 3 big time 'gets' coming our way:

Taylor Agler, 5’9” Jr transfer from Indiana and currently with the Cats. She’ll have 2 years of eligibility. Started every game her freshman year at IU. Wanted to play closer to home (Westerville native) and with former AAU players now at Ohio. She’s a pure shooter as mentioned above, 2nd team All-State at Olentangy and their all-time leading scorer. Also conference POY.

Amani Burke, 5’9” two guard and sister of Utah Jazz player Trey. A top 100 recruit and one of the top players in Ohio.

Meche’la Cobb 6-0 F, runner up POY in her conference her sophomore year. Boldon thinks will be a big time player for the Cats.

Loaded and re-loading. Go Ohio!

A top 100 recruit, that's big-time.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

There also are two players who already have committed to Ohio for 2017's class: Africentric's DeJae Denham and Mansfield Senior's Erica Johnson.
