This has the potential to be a bust in a big way. I have seen Kent play in person and although they lost a game already, they are explosive and have the kind of athletes we seemingly can't compete with. They are tough and it will be a challenge for sure. It will take a complete game from us.

After last nights game it would be easy to think 1) It's Kent, 2) It's a road game, & 3) We played horribly in our last game.
If Tony can play free of fouls with his full compliment of PT we should win. We seem to have learned to cut down on the turnovers which plagued us earlier. So as they say "As Tony goes so does the Bobcats".

When Ohio plays at Kent State, it always seems to be a good game. I feel like KSU's fans get up for OU and it usually turns into a pretty heated and competitive game. Looking forward to it.

I'm optimistic we can rebound with a good performance. Whether that results in a win, I don't know. Looking at their results, I don't see Kent as being as formidable as Akron, so we'll see.

I watched Kent again the other (Friday) night . They seem to be a tough match up with the aggressiveness to the ball, constant jumping in passing lanes, scrappiness and strong rebounding. We may well have a bounce back performance but we are going to have to be really good to overcome their pesky, ball hawking ways that promise to expose our weakness'. Vs Buffalo they were tough with no backing down. I still think Senderhoff sux but he has put together a pretty tough roster.

All I've seen of Kent is their MAC opener at Western. They looked pretty good in that one, though I'm not sure yet what that is indicative of based off of WMU's strength, or maybe lack of. Regardless, they were solid on D, and Jimmy Hall had a nice game in that one. OUr guys will have to play a good one to get a win there, but I think they're more than capable. I'm hoping to be able to be tuned in from a bar in Indianapolis somewhere.

All I would like to see is improvement in play consistency from game to game. KK should be scoring 15-20 each game, Tony needs to learn how to play without fouling, JS needs to improve on turnovers and be more aggressive in taking his 10-12' jumpers. Wadly needs to just become this years Patrick Flomo, rebound and block shots period.

Saw that from Treg. Not good sign when he admits he's sick. The BG game is the first time this group has gotten a bust in the chops. Not only lost a game they were expected to win, but got out-played and out-toughed at home. So how do they respond, not just tonight (which wouldn't have been easy anyway) but moving forward?

They said he sustained an injury in practice yesterday. Anyone know what the injury is?

Campbell just disappears at times. Whether it's from foul trouble or him drifting out to the perimeter. Disappointing 2nd half.

Why do we not play any zone? I do not care if Saul Ball is not a zone form of basketball. This team is awful in man to man. No help. No rim protectors and we are too slow at ALL positions. I think we could be an effective zone team with wing traps. I am starting to doubt Saul Ball and this is getting embarrassing. 6-16 in the MAC under Saul is inexcusable. I have a Kent friend talking trash and I have nothing in response. Just a dead looking team.
