Now that was fun. 9000+ in the house, an engaged student section, outstanding halftime entertainment and a bunch of young guys running and diving all over the floor having fun. In the first half, one of our guys got knocked down and fouled to the left of our basket at the Miami end and immediately Dartis and I believe Simmons literally sprinted to the spot to help him up in unison. Talk about team work.

The more I watch this team the more I'm inclined to give Saul a huge pass on last year. I'm not sure that John Wooden could have coached the cancer on that team to more than 10 wins. The only weak link I see is a backup point guard. When Simmons was off the floor with 4 fouls things got a little too interesting for me.

And the signature video with new "actors" reciting the lines never gets old. Of course Chalie's line that "that Ozone will be jumpin" is absolutely classic. Just get the people out from in front of the video boards.

My only regret that today wasn't senior day. There won't be half of the crowd that was there today in the Convo next week with spring break starting Friday at 5. Too bad for Setty, a guy who has given it his all and improved each year. He'll be a Bobcat favorite for many years to come.
