Akron as the (1) will play the noon game. The past couple years have been skewed by the wonky tournament format not needing any afternoon games. All I know is in the 15 years I have followed this tourney, Akron and Kent have never both been stuck in afternoon quarterfinals when they could have been set up for a night doubleheader instead. This is refreshing. Generally you're looking at 2:45 tipoff in the afternoon, 9:15 in the evening. Due to the foul-a-paloozas that we have called in the MAC we always seem to run long. The late session used to start at 7:00, but they finally got tired of starting the late games at damn near 10:00 and going past midnight.
